These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Warn Live’s website, apps, maps, forecasts, alerts, notifications, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Permitted use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for lawful personal or internal purposes, subject to these Terms and any notices displayed in the Services.

You may not:

• Use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
• Interfere with, overload, disrupt, probe, or bypass the Services or their security.
• Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.

• Misrepresent Warn Live data as an official warning or as guaranteed to be accurate.

Weather data and third-party services

The Services combine information from government agencies and other third parties. We do not control those sources and do not guarantee their availability, timeliness, coverage, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Third-party content, maps, links, and services may be governed by additional terms and licenses. Source credits and notices shown in the Services remain the property of their respective owners.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and may be delayed, duplicated, suppressed, or not delivered because of connectivity, device settings, provider failures, changing weather data, or other conditions. Disabling a notification in Warn Live may not change all browser or device settings, and vice versa.

Intellectual property

Warn Live and its licensors own the Services, including software, design, branding, and original content, except for third-party and public-source materials identified in the Services. These Terms do not transfer ownership or grant rights to use our names, logos, or marks.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Services; address misuse; or comply with law. You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Warn Live disclaims all express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Warn Live and its contributors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, service interruption, or losses arising from reliance on weather information or failure to receive an alert. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Warn Live and its contributors and service providers from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Before filing a formal claim, you and Warn Live agree to try in good faith to resolve the issue informally by email. A court with lawful jurisdiction may hear any dispute that cannot be resolved informally.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
